Why Kubera Exists

Named after Kubera — the Hindu god of wealth, treasure, and prosperity — our firm was founded on the belief that private capital markets are most powerful when managed with patience, integrity, and alignment. Too often, capital is treated as a commodity. We treat it as a trust.

Since 2023, Kubera Capital has deployed capital across four asset classes — real estate, private equity, venture capital, and private credit — each managed by specialists who share a common philosophy: risk-adjusted returns, earned through rigor, preserved through discipline.

Foundation

Started as a group of angel investors into high conviction startups by a team of former investment bankers and private equity professionals with a shared conviction about long-term capital stewardship.

Venture Capital

Entry into early-stage venture with a focus on deep tech, emerging tech, and enterprise software. First exits generate 2× MOIC in a year, establishing the platform's track record.

Real Estate Expansion

Launch of the Kubera Capital SPV I, deploying capital into residential, single family home construction in the high growth market of North Carolina with the target exit of 2.3x equity multiple.

Full Private Capital Market Launch

Kubera launches its private capital market strategy — providing access to private equity, private credit, senior secured and mezzanine financing to resilient businesses facing temporary liquidity constraints.

The International Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region.

TiE Carolinas is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to foster and support entrepreneurship in the Carolinas. We have three objectives: Facilitate networking among members, foster and nurture entrepreneurship and integrate our membership with the mainstream community.

CHARTER MEMBERS

TiE Carolinas Charter Members (CMs) are successful, high-profile entrepreneurs, corporate intrapreneurs and thought leaders, who have reached a stage in their professional life when they are ready, willing and able to contribute to fellow members. CMs are the pillars of the organization and provide critical impetus that allows each Chapter to succeed in its mission to fostering entrepreneurship in its community.

TiE Carolinas’ Charter Membership is offered on a “by-invitation-only” basis in accordance with a due process specified in our Chapter By-Laws that requires two-thirds majority approval of existing CMs. It is restricted to accomplished individuals who demonstrate the ability and willingness to help entrepreneurs in our community.
